I've been putting off finding a spare wheel that would fit my car. My issue is my Rostyle spare wheel won't fit over my front brake conversion, but my 14" Minitor wheels do. If I have a flat on the front it becomes a Chinese fire drill with swapping tires around on the side of the road. Yesterday I decided to take a tour of the local junk yard in search of a suitable wheel that will fit both front and back. What I found was a Nissan wheel part number 40300-28E00. The bolt pattern is 4x4.5", same as the MGB. it is 15x4" wide, backspace is 3 3/4" and the do-nut tire is 21 1/2 inches in diameter. My biggest concern was finding a wheel that didn't have an extreme back spacing commonly found on FWD cars. This wheel has a comparable backspacing to my 14x5.5" Minitor wheels. The Nissan wheel fits and there are no clearance issues. Unfortunately I found the wheel in the trunk of a Kia Optima so I don't know the Nissan application. Here is a link to a wheel database. Take note of the offset. It does not give those specifics except to say L, M, and H. H offset will move the tire in too far. Update 7/31/2023 I did a little more research and found some possible applications for the donut spare wheel.
